who we are
Hello! We are the team at West Rhyl Young People’s Project – “WRYPP” for short.
We're a local independent charity, based in Rhyl and working across North Wales. We started working with young people and families in 1991, and ever since then we've been passionate about tackling disadvantage and challenging stigma.
We're dedicated to supporting the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in society.
We're lucky enough to have a small team of talented and incredibly passionate youth workers & volunteers, providing informal education, youth group activities and 1 to 1 support for young people between the ages of 11 and 25 across the 6 counties of North Wales.
We believe all young people have the potential to do amazing things.
✯
We believe young people deserve the support needed to achieve their potential.
✯
We believe young people needn't be defined by where they live or what they've experienced in the past - and it definitely shouldn't affect what they can achieve in the future.
